There aren’t many songs as simple as the alphabet song. But depending on who is singing, it may be the case that there aren’t many songs as difficult as the alphabet song!
For children, especially non-native speakers of English, it can be a daunting challenge-all those letters that just make no sense! And in most recorded versions of the Alphabet Song, the music goes by so fast, they children have no idea what they are singing!
So in this super simple version, we have slowed things down, speaking the letters first, then signing, then in the “Let’s Sing” version, speeding things up a bit.
It is very lullaby-like, and great for sitting down with an Alphabet Chart and just pointing your way through the alphabet, or to play in the background or in the car.
